Representatives of “Mayo Clinic” Held a Seminar in “New Hospitals”

On 27-30 November, the representatives of “Mayo Clinic” held a seminar on the critical and urgent hospital care of children at “New Hospitals”. The seminar was led by top-speakers and resuscitators of “Mayo Clinic”, Betsy Bellinger general and trauma surgeon, Matthew Ritter – cardio-anesthesiologist, Brandon Vanta - anesthesiologist and Mariela Rivera - surgeon.

The seminar was conducted by physicians and anesthesiologists of the Department of Children’s’ Critical Care Medicine of New Hospitals and presented important issues such as anesthesia and postoperative treatment during hepato-biliary and thoracic surgeries, radiological and other modern methods of hypovolemic assessment and intraosseous infusions in children; The seminar also included the updated version of PFCCS & FCCS courses.

“New Hospitals” has was visited by Mayo Clinic delegation of America's best hospital in connection with the expansion of the Children's Health Center. The visit aimed at involving the physicians of the world's leading clinic in the establishment of multidisciplinary pediatrician service of “New Hospitals” and sharing of important experience with medical personnel.

“New Hospitals” Children's Health Center will receive patients in new, increased format from January, 2019 and children's critical and urgent medical center will start functioning there. Children's orthopedic, cardiologic, neurosurgical, hematological and laparoscopic surgery departments will also be launched; Bone marrow transplantation center and neonatal surgery department will be opened. “New Hospitals” Children's Health Center team will be staffed with the best specialists in the field and will provide best pediatric services throughout the country within 24 hours.
