New Hospitals and Liberty Bank Are Launching the Second Stage of Unprecedented Social Programme
Cooperation between Liberty Bank and New Hospitals dating back to 2018 continues, and the Liberty social card holders will benefit from medical services countrywide, with conditions designed especially for them.
Up to now, only within Tbilisi 11250 Liberty social cardholders have benefited from this unprecedented joint program. In about 90 branches of Liberty, after free screenings of cataract and glaucoma, 3157 patients were provided with additional free medical treatment at New Hospitals. Ophthalmic surgeries, as well as cardiologic, traumatologic and stroke prevention treatments have been successfully performed.
Now, even Liberty social card holders living in regions will be able to receive medical services related to eye, heart diseases, internal organs and joints, etc., for free or at great discounts at New Hospitals.
“The projects successfully implemented in Tbilisi within the Social Responsibility Programme have encouraged us to extend and widen the scope of specially designed unprecedented programme. From now people from the entire territory of the country including those living in the most inaccessible areas will be able to benefit from medical services. Cooperation with New Hospitals has enabled us to take care of pensioners as well as of other social card holders. They need constant care”- Levan Tkhelidze, Deputy General Director of Liberty, stated.
“New Hospitals is ready for launching a renewed, more broad-scale social responsibility project. National Center of Ophthalmology with 127-year experience will provide ophthalmological screenings even in the most inaccessible areas, for the pensioners not having access to these medical services until now” - Giorgi Ramishvili, Director of New Hospitals, stated.
