New Hospitals has opened the Center of Adult and Pediatric Rheumatology
The Center of Adults and Pediatric Rheumatology started to operate at New Hospitals. The Center serves patients at full capacity and is headed by Maka Ioseliani, Doctor of Medicine, a rheumatologist.
The Rheumatology Center offers full services to diagnose and treat rheumatic diseases - both on an outpatient and inpatient basis. Cutting-edge technical equipment is used for laboratory tests conducted in the internationally accredited New Hospitals laboratory to diagnose the diseases accurately.
Rheumatology is a field of internal medicine and includes general diseases of the connective tissue. The head of the Center, Doctor of Medicine Maka Ioseliani, is an associate professor at the Davit Tvildiani Medical University and has 25 years of practical experience in rheumatology. The patients are also served by rheumatologists with many years of experience - Maia Lekishvili and Ia Demurashvili.
